Histroy
On Jan 21st 2006, Lambda Phi Gamma was founded on the cold steps of wood hut AO3, by Marcus Emanuel, Joshua Bell, and the spirit of SGM Philip R. Albert. Which is also the name of the camp they were in. The original name was Alpha Phi Gamma, but it clashed with another Greek society. It was our vision that after departing from the army a brotherhood would form to continue the bond already set in place. We boost on being the best dressed, best groomed and classiest men around. Our classic beginnings start in Nov 16th of 1999. Where Marcus Emanuel and 20 other men found the mentoring organization Nothing But Class. On the steps of Paddy Foote, at Florida A & M university these men challenged themselves to style above all others on campus. So, the brothers of Lambda Phi Gamma was formed of the best of the best. We are embarking on becoming the largest social fraternity in the world. “I’m look for men that embody a leadership skill that few have. He must approach all things in a calm fashion, always under control, and with a goal to achieve the highest level in all endeavors.” Marcus Emanuel. We are bond together for social brotherhood in an elite class. We have conquered war and sacrifice. Now it is time to conquer the elite echelon.
SGM Philip R. Albert was a soldier from Terryville, Conn. He was killed in action on the 28th of Nov, 2003. Your Name will live on.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this organization shall be to honor our fallen Brothers in Arms; to preserve the legacy of SGM Albert; to help fellow soldiers return to their duties as fathers, husbands, sons, and brothers; and to preserve these bonds, steeled in combat, at Institutions of Higher Learning.
GOALS
- To kindle new friendships as we strengthen our bonds of old.
- To refuse help to no brother in need
- To lay a foundation of excellence wherever we set foot
- To continue to protect our land and the inhabitants thereof
- To uphold the laws of chivalry.
- To provide responsible male role models for future generations
